Kale R.
Thank you for taking the time to read my topic, first of all. This won't be my first time installing OSx86, although the last machine I put it on was a piece of {censored} (but I brought it back to life with OSx86 and a new graphics card lol). I'm planning on buying a new Sony Vaio, and although it comes with the "new and innovative" Windows 7, I already know what the better operating system is.. hands down. All I need is a "point in the right direction", so to speak. I'm not completely sure what strand of OSx86 would be best suited for my new laptop, what kind of customizations I'll need to make before installation, and what kexts I should look for after installation. Here are my soon-to-be computer specifications, you can read more about it at SonyStyle.com. (iDeneb, Kalyway, ect.) Where can I find the kexts I'll need for my additional hardware? That's it. If you can answer these two questions for me, I will continue my research and remake that laptop to make one hell of a Macbook and I will forever be greatful for your assistance. If you CAN'T answer these questions for me.. can you atleast tell me where I can begin searching for the answers? Right now I'm drawing a map with no pen.. thank you!
