Pulsewidth Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 Hi, I've done a bit of searching and no one really has this motherboard, so hopefully one of you guys reading this can help. I can't get ALC888B working on 10.6.2. I've installed a variety of related kexts but no luck. I think I need to edit my dsdt.aml but I cannot find any information on what to edit since this mobo is uncommon. Any help would be greatly appreciated! jim Sam Posted March 7, 2010 Share Posted March 7, 2010 Was it working on 10.6? If it did try to downgrade back to 10.6. Then in 10.6 copy AppleHDA.kext located at system/library/extensions and save it on your desktop. Now you can update into 10.6.2. Then replace the AppleHDA.kext extension with the one you copied from 10.6 and run Kext Utility when it's done restart. I hope that would work. I attached EXTRA if you want to use it. GOOD LUCK!!
