aitikin
Hey all, I've been trying to find a way to boot openSUSE off of my flash drive on the university's iMacs. So far I've had no luck and figured I'd check if someone knew a trick here. Carrying a CD around with me just isn't an option, and I really want something that I can take anywhere with me. Thanks! Timdphotos
if by USB drive you mean a proper hard drive (e.g. LaCie) and not a Flash Drive then you can install it using bootcamp, (search for a Tutorial) i saw a few tutorials. im trying to get linux too but i dont have enough download Quota to get a distro. ps. does your Uni use IMacs not PCs? same story for my school here Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209336-booting-linux-on-intel-mac-with-usb-drive/#findComment-1426081 Share on other sites
