Nvidia 6800 GT unable to go above 1024x768 resolution

Just installed Leo4All v3 on some older equipment I had lying around. Everything seems to work fine except for the video. The only resolution i get is 1024x768. I've tried the Nvidia drivers from the install disk but those just cause the machine to hang after the initial install. I've tried NVinject, NVkush, Natit, NVinstaller v4.1. Nothing seems to work. Please help!
