oshak Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 I am a complete noob at hackintoshing but i want to learn, i did million post reading but can find any decent help for this mobo.. is someone can walk me through? i couldnt fint any ud5 at the time.. i guess its dicontinued so i had choice between the ga-x58a-ud5 or ga-x58a-udy instead of the ga-EX58-ud5 i found one after but was in a different country and the customs are nuts over here, i am located in BC Canada. i have no idea what is the difference between EX58 and X58A? anyway seem like i am a bit n the dark with the new ud7... looks like the extreme to me. maybe i can flash the ud5 bio and make it work like a ud5? HELP plEase! sometime i am wondering why i started all this... just so sick of giving APPLE my cash every 2 years because their machine cant be upgraded... just garbage, anyway here my spec G5 case ga-x58a-ud7 i7 2.66 watercool with koolance 350at and quick disconnect connector... super tech looking... 2x 1.5tb sata seagates samsung lightscribe x22 superdrive doubla fan rad koolance lianli atx tray for the g5,should be pretty stock looking corsair ddr3 12g ram corsair 850w ps thermaltake pump and sensor for cooling couple chrome fans i dived into a project without really understanding the pain in the ass, i like screwing around with stuff like this but now that i actually bought the stuff i started to stress a little... i am still in the build right now so i have time before the install! cheers everyone, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209166-ga-x58a-ud7-guide-anyone/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
