I cannot figure out what the problem is, so I am resorting to this forum.

I was running 10.6.1 fine and then without looking too much into the necessary details, I finally updated to 10.6.2 this morning.

Update went fine, but on restart, I got a KP. I realized I need to update the SleepEnabler; I did that and logged into the system once. After than I've been getting an error I'm posting below:

When I run with -s boot option, everything loads fine and I get to the prompt. But when I fsck -fy as it says to do to get into write mode, I get the following error:

:/ root# fsck -fy

I read that this might be caused by some USB devices, I did have a hub which I removed and only connected a keyboard and mouse.

My system is:

GA-UD5 motherboard

6gb corsair DDR3 memory

2x500gb western digital hd ( 1 for mac 1 for win 7)

Intel coreI7 (what ever the cheapest one is).

I should've just stuck with 10.6.1, which was working flawlessly!!

Has anyone gone through a similar problem? Any insights and help is obviously appreciated!!

Thanks!
