TheKing
Is there any way I could put Tiger on my MacBook 4,1? I got install disc from MacBook3,1 to try to put it on my own macbook? Can anyone help me? I actually tried to boot from the disc, but when the gray-apple background comes, it just restarts. Is there any hack? Thanks in advance as your help will be really appreiciated. riws
Tiger does not have drivers for this intel Chipset and GPU.
TheKing
Can I get it somehow installed? I have currently done some coding for those drivers. I actually coded on my friend's iMac g4 (os x 10.4.11) and I want to test it.
riws
MacBook3,1 has Leopard as Install DVD! You could take the HDD from the Book and install it there? Change iD's for AHCI driver later.
TheKing
YES, it was taken from MB3,1. I cannot do that, because I need it urgently. I must run the tests for the drivers today or tomorrow, and my friend is currently on way and will be back home in the next month. So, if there is another solution to install it, please post it here. I've also heard that OSInstall.mpkg can be hacked so I can install it on other machines. If anyone knows more info, please post here. Thanks.
