I just recently installed Mac OS X 10.4.5 on my notebook and am having slight problems with Sound, my ATI x1600 mobility, and Broadcom Ethernet drivers, (also not to mention Intel 3945ABG but I haven't seen much progression on that) if anyone has any links to how I can get these to work, please let me know,

Thanks.

1. Find manual here: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=8864&st=0#

and sound will work.

2. Try borisbadenov's method to get you X1600 working: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=19806

3. Ethernet and Intel 3945ABG don't work.

1. i used that method for audio and sound only works half the time, something about the bus not being initialized when loading the kext. plus the 5672 uses an ALC883 not the ALC882 so the kext from that link won't work without some tweaking.

2. The Boris method doesn't seem to work too well for mobility chipsets. I've tried it about 10 times without sucess. it seems ATINDRV doesn't have the correct timing information or something for many mobile displays. it might still work on an external monitor but that defeats the purpose of owning a laptop.

3. the ethernet doesn't work either but i have heard of people getting it running on other systems using the broadcom 5751 kext.
