VisionaryCynic
I'm trying to set up Leopard on my Asus G60VX, but I've run into trouble with Boot-132. So far, I have downloaded BOOT_KABYL_BUMBY.iso, added kexts to initrd.img, burnt the resulting iso and booted from it. When I replace it with the Leopard ISO, it loads all the kexts from the boot-132 cd but hangs before it reaches the Leopard DVD with this error 7 times: EBIOS read error: Error 0x04 Block 822842 Sectors 64 There are no problems with my install DVD as it boots fine on my PowerMac, so could the problem be my DVD drive? Its model is "HL-DT-STDVDRAM GT30N." If it is my DVD drive, is there anyway I could use only a USB thumb drive for this? I have spent the last several days messing with this problem with no success, so if anyone could give me an idea on what to do I would be very grateful. VisionaryCynic
I resolved it. Turns out my DVD was scratched, just not enough to make it unbootable on my PowerMac. Copying it to a DVD+R Dual Layer solved the problem.
