Updating iPC 10.5.6 to 10.5.8

Okay, so I am currently using iDeneb 10.5.8 and I like that I can finally get iPhone SDK, Safari 4 and Java 1.6, but it is a lot buggier than my iPC install. Is there anyway I can just update my iPC install instead?

I am currently using a AMD 64 with DFI nForce 4 Ultra Lan Party mobo. I tried using the built in software update and it bricked my install, then I used the Zyphroth and it gave me an Apple API error and stopped when it was reading the CPUIDs.
