Booher619
Hi,I have a Acer Aspire One AOA150 and install iPC OSx86, its the 5th or something, I used the auto update to take it from 10.5.6 to 10.5.7, Now when I go into the terminal and type "uname -a" I get: Darwin davids-mac-pro.local 9.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.5.0: Sat Dec 6 19:39:54 IST 2008; Voodoo; Release 1.0 :xnu-1228.7.58/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386 so I have the 9.5.0 kernel and when I try to mount a dmg file it gives me a kernel panic talking about "No mapping exist for frame pointer," I add the 10.5.5 Seatbelt from the tutorial http://www.00235.insanelymac.do1.uk.com/fo...howtopic=148566 I followed it to a t and it helped me last time I tried it. But for some reason I still can't get it to install. I also followed this tutorial: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...49173&st=20 to install the .kext for some of my hardware and after I did all of them I have to boot with -x safe mode thing. When it boots normally I just get a screen with lines through it but my mouse still works. If you have any questions I'll answer them. I'm no noob to computers, I have been going to school for building and programming for 3 years now and modded my xbox and took linux classes so I do know a good bit behind the comman line (except for vi, I hate it), so thank you for your help.
