Ravi7791 Posted July 1, 2006 Share Posted July 1, 2006 I get the "No" cross in the gray apple boot screen, like this, but without all the glamour I HAVE installed it before, this was back when the HDD was empty. I can't even run Linux LIVE, says I'm missing the drivers to my CD Drive. It asks me to insert a floppy to install the drivers. I think this is linked to my misfourtunes with the OSX installation. I have the Sony DRU-800A DVD Burner/Drive. Oh ya, one more thing, I can boot to the install screen fine with vmware. But I can't install it that way, since nothing gets written to my HDD. I rather just do it the traditional way :/ Unless that's the only way I will get it working lol I have: Pentium D 805 P5LD2 ASUS Mobo 1GB DDR2 RAM ATI X1600PRO Graphics Card by Shappire 80GB Samsung HDD It happens with EVERY image.
