mmorby
I'm suddenly having keyboard issues. I used this tutorial to set up my system with almost no problems: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=144020 I've run 10.5.6 retail, then 10.5.8 retail for several months with no issues. I was using the Apple aluminum usb keyboard, and the only problem with it was that the machine wouldn't cold boot with it plugged in. Otherwise, the keyboard worked fine before booting into the OS, I was able to access the bios settings, bootloader, etc. Anyway, I decided I wanted to dual boot Windows 7, so I ended up starting over so I could repartition everything. After that, I restored with a time machine backup and had a fresh partition for Windows 7, I just had to sync the GPT/MBR partition table before I could install. While I was trying to figure that out, suddenly my keyboard stopped working. The bios apparently doesn't recognize it, so I can't get into the setup or choose which partition to boot into. I tried a usb->ps2 adapter with the alum keyboard and a separate ps2 keyboard, neither of which worked. Basically I can do nothing. The machine posts and goes directly into the bootloader, and that's it. Any ideas what I can do? Is there a way to reset the motherboard to just start over and reflash the bios?
