Casperkc
Hello all! I recently got a new pc and i've gotten quite addicted to some software on my macbook. So I though I would install Snow Leopard on my new pc. Here's the hardware: Core i5 650 (Clarkdale) Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 2x2gb ddr3 Kingston memory XFX 4890 I've tried the following methods: Tonymac's Boot CD My self made custom CD Custom releases (from the "you know which" sites) And a USB key booting with Snow Leopard and Chameleon(?) They all work pretty well, I boot up and enter the bootloader. Then I replace the CD in the drive and insert my Snow Leopard retail dvd. I type "-x" in chameleon and then press enter. Then it starts to run through 6-8 pages of kexts (looks like that) and the last line I get is: Starting Darwin x86_64 And then my pc reboots, allowing me to start all over again.. I've seen plenty of similar setups, where Snow Leopard is working brilliant. But somehow I think the problem could be my cpu? Please help me if you can, i'm desperate getting Snow Leopard to work so I can install Coda (webpage editor) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/208653-trouble-with-i5-650-clarkdale-and-ga-p55a-ud3/ Share on other sites
