Hi all, I was wondering anybody encounter this kernel panic whenever you try to play music from any attached ipods

Would be great if anybody is able to help me on this issue.

 

I'm using hazard's snow leopard for intel/amd iso with patched CPUID for itunes.

Just to add if it helps... my rig is

Opteron175

MSI K8N Neo4 FI

Asus7900GT Top

2GB ram

IDE hardisk with GUID partition

Hi Thanks for the reply. Yes its a usb ipod. USB seems to be working as it can recognise my flash drives and hdd and i'm able to transfer files to and fro.

 

Are there any other to test whether the USB is fully functioning?

Assuming its a USB iPod do you know if USB works at all without kernel panicking?

Still unsolved... No one else has problems like my? :angry:

you used a hacked install? could possibly be a problem with one of the extensions? i dont know which one...part of the reason i try to stick with vanilla

 

are your usb drives showing up as built in in the system profiler?

Thanks again for your reply. My profiler shows up as built in USB... could it be the AppleUSBOHCI and EHCI driver problems?
