squireboy56
Sorry i'm very new to the hackintosh enviorement, but I did use the search tool and couldn't find anything on this. I have a HP touchsmart tx2z thats dual booting windows 7 and iDeneb's 10.5.5 just fine, but i wanted to upgrade it to iDeneb's new 10.5.8 combo update. I was just blind guessing and ran the tools, restarted, worked perfectly, then ran the update, which then caused it to not be able to boot up. (it was stuck at the apple logo). Please tell me what i'm doing wrong and a step by step on how. (with update, it asked me which kexts i think it was (like voodooHD) i wanted, does anyone know which ones i should select for my tx2z). thanks for the help. EDIT: Sorry, my hardware is: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics card AMD Turion X2 RM-75 4gb DD42 RAM Its the Tx2z model that bestbuy sells. when i was installing it originally i checked: stage XNU kernal AMD Patch AzaliaAudio Broadcom wireless Radeon Core Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/208476-hp-tx2z-1055-to-1058/ Share on other sites
