pudrums
Hey there, is there any way to get the QuadroFX 5600 or even the new FX4800 to work in an older 2,66Ghz Quad Mac Pro? Couldn't find anything on the net yet, so iI guess this is the best place to ask. Thanks in advance! cav2ya
Hey there, is there any way to get the QuadroFX 5600 or even the new FX4800 to work in an older 2,66Ghz Quad Mac Pro? Couldn't find anything on the net yet, so iI guess this is the best place to ask. Thanks in advance! I too, am interested in this answer. i picked up a Nvidia Quadro FX 4400 for my Mac Pro 1.1 2.66 Quad. the card will not sit right in the case because of the Memory daughter card riser. there appears to be a piece at the top of this that can be removed, or more like, it's pre-punched. So firstly, is there a way to get the daughter card riser out, and punch the hole, so that, secondly, install the Quadro FX 4400 (along with any knowledge of drivers and Cuda.) thanks.
