philmrmac Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Currently getting these on boot: AppleRTL8169Ethernet: Unknown hardware version ID (28000000) AppleRTL8169Ethernet: probeHardware() failed "solved" this by installing a r1000sl.kext or something like that found elsewhere. Anyone know how to get the EVGA onboard NICs working without the add-on kext?
