Scotty geek
Hey everyone.. so after reading the 10.6 forums and how to's I took the plunge and Started my own SL install. My HW is: Gigabyte P45-DS3L MB (Bios ver 10) Quad -core 9550 (2.83GHZ) 8 GB DDR2 800 Ram GFX 8800 GT video linksys N wireless I followed the guide for my MB and didn't have to do too much modifications from it. Then I download the BCM43XX script (beta) found in the LAN & wireless forums - it worked but then went poof, no more airport. Very weird. My video card seems to work however the OGL score is a little low. Tried adding the EFI String with OSX86tools but didn't seem to help or hurt. My next step is to build a fresh DSDT.aml file. I used the one provided in the guide that match my Motherboard, but Still would like to try making it myself. can anyone recommend a good guide?
