Run Console, check the boot logs. Look at the timestamps and try to track down what is taking so long during boot.

If you post a link to a .pdf copy of your motherboard manual I'll take a look at the BIOS settings for you.

http://www.retrevo.com/support/MSI-MS-7360...17246ag118/t/2/ there is the link for manual. But when im in verbose mode in iAtkos it tells some timeouts at end I think thats why it takes so long, also when I enter desktop then its very laggy for like 15minutes then it goes like normal and works very good. Pretty strange huh

:P

You start the application 'Console' that resides in the Utilities folder on your OS X installation.

Another way to quickly run it is to type 'Console' in Spotlight. That's the little magnifying glass up in the corner next to the clock.

I don't know, I've never had any problems with either PATA or SATA and both are fast enough for me. Never took the time to compare.

Any distro you can get your hands on is worth trying because of what you can learn. I can't say if it will work or not.

Going to install iAtkos now.. Leo4all and Kalyway didn't boot from disc even.

Also guys on hackintosh irc claimed that I need AHCI... Sigh, I belive this more

EDIT: Reinstalled iAtkos boot still slow but system is super fast can't understand what happened!

And now when I rebooted iAtkos it panics on the damn IOAPIC, IOPCI family...

Reinstalled and works fine.. Btw those are same panics I get from iPC boot. Hmm strange.

what machine are you trying to install this on? whats the motherboard or if its OEM what model?

when installing with iPC 10.5.6, choose the following...

Kernels = 9.5.0 voodoo kernel

Chipset = ICHX

Time Machine Fix

Video = (none, install later)

internet = (none, need know your controller chipset, install later)

sound = (none, need know your controller chipset, install later)

Fixes/Patches = ACPI fix, seatbelt, ShutdownRestart

Patch DSDT

AppleSMBIOS = AppleSMBIOS -27 Rev 800

Bootloader = Chameleon with SMBIOS/DSDT

and at least add in applications OSX86 Tools, Universal OSX installer, NTFS and Kext helper b7

see how that works out

What voodoo gives compared to vanilla?

if some of your problems are coming from vanilla kernel, then voodoo might work great. voodoo 9.5 is one of the most universal kernels in my experience. i've gotten it running fine on a dozen machines, intel or AMD. if you get your setup working fine with voodoo kernel, you can always try to switch over to vanilla later, but when your troubleshooting problems i think its better to start with things you know SHOULD work, then add in the bits and pieces later one at a time that MIGHT work, such as the vanilla kernel.

So can my ioapic and iopcifamily panic come from vanilla kernelå

possibly... possibly not. in fixes or patches, did you select IOPCI family kext ? that could be problem also. its hard to know for sure what your problem is, until you start using options that are known to work. then if you want to be closer to vanilla you can start attempting reinstalls choosing more vanilla options one at a time, but if you go jumping into vanilla or selecting all sorts of drivers / customize options, patches in the installer your asking for tons of trouble and hours/days of frustration. dont select anything without understanding why and if you should select that. use my suggestion and report back how things are working

EDIT: i found your audio chipset, if your motherboard is MSI-P35 Neo-F (MS-7360) then your audio is ALC888
