Compaq Presario 2200 Installed it using: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...le_And_Accurate This method was ideal for me because I already had windows xp installed. I used partition magic as the guide explains and made room for a new os x partition (no reformatting all my data was/is safe). Booted up into OS X, got stuck on the boot screen. Booted in safe mode.. tried a bunch of differnet things to the kexts.. messed it up enough that i had to reinstall it (same method). This time I deleted all the AppleIntel kexts except for the integrated video one, and all the ati and nvidias. Updated the integrated video kext to use my chipset (0x35828080), booted up and it worked beautifully with Quartz Extreme and everything. Then all that was left was for me to get my wireless working and following the instructions on this forum was able to do that as well. All in all, very happy. Fully working macintosh laptop manufactured by HP/Compaq. machine specs: Celeron M 1.4 ghz 512mb Integrated video on the Intel 855 chipset AC '97 audio an internal broadcom wireless + ethernet card Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
