Hi I'm having problems installing the snow leopard , I have the iPC OSx86 10.5.6 ISO and I've burned it onto a DVD when I boot on it, it comes with the words then darwinx86 and something spinning underneath it after it just restarts.... and does the same thing. I have a partitioned hard disk used easeus partition master to partition it I already have windows 7 installed on another partition and I have another partition for stuff these are the specs of my pc:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz

Memory: 4GB

Video Card: Nvidia GEforce 9600 GT 1GB

mother board: ASRock 4core1333-FullHD

can anyone help me please? thanks :D

hey daveta thanks for your reply! I didn't choose anything, I partitioned the hard drive and I inserted the DVD of the mac os and booted it from the boot selection menu while start up then it says press any key bla bla bla I press a key from the keeyboard it says loading darwin/x86 and the thing starts spinning and then just nothing it restarts , I tried verbose mode as well but at one point it stops and restarts, tried the same ISO on VM Ware still the same results... except for the grey screen with the apple logo (it appears on vm ware but it restarts after that...) :S I'm sorry cause I don't know allot on pc's

the problem is that the installer isn't even beginning with the install :S it restarts before it starts with the installation(when I'm not on VM ware) it doesn't even get to the grey screen witht he apple logo it does it only on VM ware :S Grazie

try to boot typing -v at darwin prompt.

hey Daveta yeah tried it as well , here is the snapshot from VM ware

it does the same result if I'll try directly on the pc, can it be from the ISO image I've downloaded maybe corrupted or something?
