twmulloy
i upgraded to bios F7 and used tony's beta iso (http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=197) and i can install easily enough and reboot into initial boot for the os (first time i've been able to get this far). but can't apply the boot efi to make it bootable. nor can i load dsdt, kext, without it breaking the ability to boot back into. that's as far as i can get... can only boot into snow leopard with the boot cd only if i haven't changed anything. no ethernet, etc. working... hardware: ga-p55a-ud4p 8 gb ram i7-860 (2) geforce 9800GTX+ bios: F7 bios settings: as described at bottom of this page.. http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2009/11/os-...ing-retail.html ps. i also tried PC-EFI 10.6 Released, and no luck making bootable. pps. this is using snow leopard retail dvd.
