dahmooser Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Wow! A lot of threads and information since I did my original 10.5.1 install with many thanks to pcwiz! My 10.5.1 install has been as solid as a rock since the day I installed it! truly wonderful. Lately, though, I've been needing to use updated applications that won't run on 10.5.1, so, here I am! I've followed the install video located here: http://osx86sv.wordpress.com/2009/09/04/ho...asus-p5-series/ And I've made it as far as registering and everything! When my system finally shows the desktop, a dark shade travels top to bottom on my main lcd then I get the message (in many languages) about "You need to restart your computer..." Does anyone have any idea where I might begin unravelling what is wrong? Seems close, very close. I'm not real keen on changing the bios, because, if I do, then, I cannot go back to my stable 10.5.1.
