overyander Posted January 16, 2010 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Ok, so I've made a boot USB drive for 10.6. I used chameleon 2.0 rc2 and rc4 (both with same results). I also added mach_kernel_test7 to the usb drive to allow for AMD compatability. I have all the kexts for achci, etc. installed. My system is an HP M7470n the board specs are here. I'm using a 750GB WD SATA HDD. Everything seems to run ok, without any KP's and very minimal warnings. When the installer loads, I go through the langauge prompt and the EULA, but when it is supposed to show my hard drives, it doesn't show them. I opened disk utility from within the installer, and it only shows by USB flash drive. I have a SATA and an IDE hard drive plugged in to it, and I've tried with each of them seperate, but the installer will never see them. Also, just in case it matters, I have both partitioned with NTFS. Thanks for the help, I'm about to lose my mind over this! Very frustrating.
