Hey there!

I've successfully managed to upgrade from kalyway 10.5.2 to 10.5.7 HURRAH! and thankyou to all the people whose guides have got me there!

However, since I installed 10.5.4 and all subsequent updates since, it wont boot unless I use the flag "update -v"

I have no idea what "update" does or why it requires it... but it works. Can anyone tell me if its serious and if theres a way to boot without the "update" flag? Have I done something wrong? Do I need to change something?

Specs:

MB: MSI P35 neo-f (patched bios)

CPU: Intel core 2 duo using vanilla kernel

GPU: XFX 8800gs using nvinject 320

Installed on external USB HDD

Install order::

1. kalyway 10.5.2

2. Kalyway_UpdCombo10.5.3

3. MacOSXUpd10.5.4 + DSDT_Patcher1.0.1e + renamed Dont Steal Mac OS x.kext > dsmos.kext

4. MacOSXUpd10.5.5 + IntelCPUPMDisabler.kext

5. MacOSXUpd10.5.6 + deleted Dont Steal Mac OS X.kext

6. MacOSXUpd10.5.7

I didnt know what info might be needed so just put this basic stuff for now!

Cheers!
