When setting up OSX86 i created a 2nd partition and installed OSX on it and all was fine. However during a boot up a few weeks later my windows system crashed and to get everything working again without loosing artwork, mp3's and photos i had to create a small 3rd partition which i installad a low level installation of xp on. I now need to delete this "active partition". I edited the boot ini file and restarted but i still get two options of windows xp on boot up and the boot ini file goes back to show 2 boot options. I have turned off system restore, gone into system and edited the boot ini file and gone through the msconfig route and edited but it keeps restoring to show dual booting options. I have deleted the folder in C:|WINDOWS where i place the new operating files so why is it still showing two installations. I have tried using Acronis but it wont do what i need. In my computer it only shows C:\ drive and not the partition that must be hidden inside it. Any ideas how to delete a 2nd XP installation??? Remember that the system files for the 2nd installation have been deleted by myself. I just need to delete the active partition and the boot log file.

Paul.
