Simply yes, but you will have to follow on of the topics like Zenith432's Snowkitty topic, as you will require a non standard kernel, but plenty of help on this web site. Good luck! nyseman Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 Are you sure? I have a dell inspiron 530 and can enable/disable intel virtualization in bios (version 1.0.18). I'm running windows virtual pc - xp mode and vmware with snow leopard and xp in windows 7 with no problem. What cpu and bios version do you have on your dell inspiron 530? jake245 Posted January 19, 2010 Author Share Posted January 19, 2010 i believe the cpu is either a e2220 or e5200.i did some research on the intel website and it said it doesnt support virtualization.i have the same bios update as you,and checked in there but couldnt find any settings too turn it on.
