Jason Dill
Hello, I have been pulling my hair out for the past two days over this. I want to stop nvenet.kext from loading and only load nForcelan. I thought it would be easy, I deleted the kext from the IONetworking kext, deleted the Extensions.mkext from the startup directory and rebooted. When the system rebooted NVEthernet was still loading. So I booted into Single user mode and did a find and it didn't find nvenet.kext or NVEthernet on the drive. I ran a system cache clean and fix permissions through Onyx but no matter what NVEthernet loads at startup. I used EmpireEFI to setup and it's updated to 10.6.2 Any help is much appreciated!
