toWeb
Good day. Installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.2 Retail, now in the process of selection kexts for devices. Configuration: ASUS P5Q, Core2Duo E8500. Built-in network card Atheros L1e up with kext, which I found, but the external Inter PRO/1000 GT fails to start. Looked here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Des...52&lang=eng Redirected to: http://www.small-tree.com/Articles.asp?ID=198 No result. OSx86Tools shows: 04:01.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation 82541PI Gigabit EthernetController [8086:107 c] (rev 05) Chipset 82541PI exists in IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleIntel8254XEthernet.kext But the network card still does not find. Please, help somebody. P.S. Sorry for dirty english. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/207373-problem-with-intel-pro1000-gt/ Share on other sites

scalar
I was struggling for a long time with stability issues using the kexts for my Intel PCI Pro/100 card, and struggling to get my onboard dual Intel 82575's working at all. It was recommended I try a card based on the Realtek 8189 and I wish I had done so 6 months ago...
