forsaekn
Ok so this is my first time doing a hackintosh but i'm not a n00b with computer lingo so do't be afraid to talk tacky to me. I have the iAtkOS v7 and I'm trying install it on my computer (obviously). My system consists of these parts.. Motherboard - GA-MA790X-UD4P RAM - 4GB Corsair DDR2 1066 CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 805 Graphics - Radeon HD 4850 I installed with all the things I saw appropriate for my system and yet when it boot I see the apple logo and it's loading nut then the screen flickers and video cuts out. I'm assuming this might have to do with my display driver. But just in case can someone point me n the direction I need to be going for this to work? I was choosing the vid drivers that I thought it should be and it would show the boot icon and right when the desktop should appear it would cut out to all black. I ended up not choosing a video driver to install and it worked after that. It is probably just working off a default driver , and i can only choose 1024x728 but it is atleast working for now. Hope that helps ya out. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/207345-video-dies-at-boot/#findComment-1386421 Share on other sites
