Maybe someone can steer me in the right direction. I've done my share of google searching and for some reason I can't find anyone with the same problem. Maybe I am using the wrong search terms. In any case, I have two gigs of ram installed in an otherwise working OSX install (except my 6800 GT AGP Card too) on my old MSI AMD 64 motherboard. The system bios properly detects that I have 2GB's ram installed, and so does windows xp. OS X Snow Leopard however only shows that I have 1GB of ram, saying that they are each only 512mb sticks. Is there some sort of switch or something I can do to make it see the full 2GB's?

Thanks

Hi, I have the same problem, did you solved it?

I honestly don't remember the outcome of this (i'm sorry to say). I think I had to add more ram to the system for it to see 2GB. Maybe I was mistaken and the sticks that I thought were 1GB each were only 512MB, although I said that XP saw it as a total of 2GB's. Sorry dude, I don't remember.
