petrosagape
Hello all, ive seem to run into some problems... I used Leppy700m's guide located here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=178411 It installed perfect no errors, when i try to boot, i get the panic restart screen and it says Panic{cpu 0 caller 0x558993): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1456.1.25/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExper.cpp:1389 Debugger called: <panic> Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame: Return Address (4 potential args on stack) then some call stack i dont want to type BSD process name corresponding to current thread: Unknown Mac OS version: Not yet set Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 10.0.0: Friday J***** System uptime in nanoseconds 76797*** EDIT: ok after battling this badboy at work while dealing with some irl drama, i ended up during the reinstall plugging in a usb drive then thinking that was not a good idea so i pulled it out during the install and then was like... better start this over... well that was not the best of ideas cause it took til i got off work and got home to my ubuntu live cd and i was able to format the hd and once i got home: i used the guides boot disk installed osx rebooted bam installed updating to 10.6.2 right now the guide says it works with 10.6.1 sooooo.... we shall see Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/207149-fixed-latitude-d620-sl-working/ Share on other sites
