tomyeah
hi there, i just installed osx and played around, started actually working. accidently i deleted a few files. after some google research i found out that the HFS+ filesystem is not really made for data rescue. ive tested a few data recover tools (even these high priced) but none could rescue my 10 jpg files that i deleted an hour ago. so my question ... is there some kind of extra data security application that overrides the trash bin? deleted files are stored somewhere else in a queque and after some volume limit is reached they get deleted sequentially in the queque? regards, tom. bluedragon1971
so my question ... is there some kind of extra data security application that overrides the trash bin? Yes, it's a free program called Human Brain 2.0. Sometimes it doesn't work very reliably though, so hopefully the developer will release an upgrade soon.
