SwiiftY
I've installed using iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 the install ran fine and after booting up and entering /sbin/mount -uw /touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone passwd "mypass" I get into OS X fine but on every reboot i have to enter the above command again to gain access to OS X. Has anyone experienced this problem and knows a possible fix for it? Lord_Jeremy
What do you mean you have to enter that command to gain access? What happens if you don't? I'm guessing a reinstall might fix it, but I can't know without more info. SwiiftY
If i don't enter the /sbin/ stuff then it just shows the Apple logo on a grey screen, nothing happens. I've tried a fresh install with no luck and reburnt the disc at the slowest setting. Lord_Jeremy
Boot with "-v" and post the last few lines of the output. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/207020-problem-booting-afer-install/#findComment-1383855 Share on other sites
