hi,

so trying around a little I finally got a very nicely working SL 10.6.2 install to work. It really works extremly well.

So now I thought that maybe it was possible to "fine-tune" the system a little ... especially considering boot-up time and loaded drivers. I looked throught the system.log but have to admit I didn't really see anything special in there. So I thought I just post my boot-up-log here, and maybe some of the pros here can see some unnecessary stuff that would make my hackintosh even faster. If none of you want to do it it's not that bad, but if anyone sees something that can be tweaked - tell me :)

if anyone finds anything, thanks!

Disable your serial port in the BIOS.

Okay. It was just a guess...You can try removing the serial port from your DSDT as well, maybe that will help. I've never seen those messages in my logs.
