BlankTim
Hi everyone, I recently (an hour ago), installed 10.4.4 with Myzar's patch. Everything went well, but my network card isn't recognized. I'm using the onboard LAN, which is a Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 series. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this? I'm not ruling out buying a Realtek card (which ones work best?) if it comes to that, I'd just rather not if I don't have to. Thanks for any help and info ya'll can give me. dancemc87
hey, its me again ;-) i havent visited the irc channel yet (can you pm me channel# and server?? ;-)!!) (i didnt want to disturb the guys - they are working on our drivers for osx *smile*) my expertise in mac os x is very limited (i just can use the grahical user interface, nothing deeper like the shell or something like that ;-D) so i would appreciate if you guys could implement those needed drivers to the next release builds. then i would really change my OS to "hackintosh" ;-) that would be great. really ;-) so guys, please fix that soon *smile* thanks a lot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20678-network-issues-marvell-yukon/#findComment-229668 Share on other sites
user2
Have you guys tried editing the device id in the Yukon.kext? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20678-network-issues-marvell-yukon/#findComment-229670 Share on other sites
dancemc87
if we knew where and what the yukon.kext is and how to properly modify it, then we would have tried it on our own ^^ ;-) so, we have to wait until one of you implements this driver for us ^^ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20678-network-issues-marvell-yukon/#findComment-229792 Share on other sites
