Melbournesurf13
OK here is a quick overview- I have a sony vaio, currently w/ 2 primary partitions, windows 7 boot and the other that was housing kalyway's 10.5.2. Both were happily coexisting with another. I have a retail SL dvd, and an empire efi disc as well. I will also have a USB stick and an external hd as well. I planned on using the second HD to back up some of my stuff (movies, music etc) that is usable by both OS's. Ok so I went to install Snow on the same type of scheme that I did 10.5.2 (w/ existing windows 7)...diskpart create partition primary id=af etc....using empire efi, booted into install and then I saw that I had to make one of the partitions GUID...and the only way to do that would be to do it to the entire disk. I need to wipe out my HD and start from fresh anyway. I would like to make windows 7 partition my boot partition since stability of OSx86 is not without question (neither is windows.)...I want to install SL on the second... If needed, I could re-install 10.5.2 on the separate partition and install leopard to a GUID formatted USB and clone it to the drive but I am not 100% sure about how to go about it... I have been reading an absurd about of material, but have yet to find a concise methodology.
