dej15
Hi, Don't know if this is the right forum category for my question. I have an HP pavilion dv5220us and would like to install mac os x if possible, my question is: What OS do I need to install a fully working mac os x on hp pavilion dv5220us (Snow leopard, leopard, tiger?) Can someone help me post the link / guide and download? thanks.
krasnobaev
Hi. The topic is old but maybe someone will find this information useful. I have installed Snow Leopard on dv5220us. It runs smoothly and I am able to develop on it with xcode. iATKOS S3 version 2, Snow Leopard 10.6.3 I used all defualt settings plus: For touch pad: Drivers->Main Hardware->PS/2->Voodoo PS/2 For graphic card (Intel GMA 945) Drivers->Main Hardware->VGA->Natit (32bit) After succefull installation, I have installed IOPCMCIAFamily.kext http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...83356&st=0# After that my PCMCIA wi-fi card ZyXEL NWD-170N is working without any additional drivers. Go to "System Preferences"->"Network", enable Airport and configure wi-fi network. I Have not installed laptop battery because when installed the laptop goes to sleep when on batery power and the lid is closed. However, sleep is not working: screen is turned off and never goes back on, everithyng else continues working. I have tried SleepEnabler without any luck.
