TE0I0TEJIb
Hi, i have acer aspire 5520g laptop with osx 10.6.2 installed my specs: -mcp67 motherboard(using patched kexts) -amd turion(K8) x2 TL-60 2,00 ghz(2 x 512 kb L2 cache) 64 bit -quoopz 10.2.0 kernel and my processor is always seriously overheating! i've searched forum, but i didn't find a working solution, i've tried: -adding fbs and proc frequency to smbios.plist -adding "cpuidle=0 fsb=1600 apicpmtimer=1 notsc=1 nohpet=1 idlehalt=0" bootflags -trying different patched kernels -voodoopower do not work to me(it is seriously slow with voodoopower) -i cant change multiplaiers in bios, because my bios doesn't allow me to do this, and i have phoenix bios, which cant be patched only cpus=1 works, but this slow the perfomance, so I want to find better solution please smb help! maybe there is another way to change multiplaiers or to get voodoopower work! if(window.savefrom__lm){savefrom__lm.setLanguage('ru'); savefrom__lm.useSmallButton = true; savefrom__lm.modifyTextLink = false; savefrom__lm.go();} Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/206509-amd-overheating/ Share on other sites
