jbolted
I thought it would be a good idea and helpful to n00be's & experienced hackintoshers alike. To compare to and maybe find a common thread. If you could be so kind and post: 1a- Your CPU model (ie.Q8400, Q6600, etc.) 1b- If you are over clocking what speed in Ghz 2- What type of heat sink and thermal paste you are using. 3- Your Core temps 4- what you are using to get these temps. There seem to be a lot of variants in temperatures, and some confusion of what is considered normal and what is considered a potential problem. So by comparing and seeing what is working may save a lot of people ulcers! thanks for participating. jbolted Q8400 2.66Ghz Apple system profiler says 2.7 Ghz Stock supplied Intel Heatsink and fan, Antec Silver Formula 5 thermal paste 52 C normal 65 C full load with all cores full using handbrake Istat menus Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/206391-post-your-temperatures-on-your-cpu-here/ Share on other sites
