Hello everyone,

I would like to first off say, what a great site, I've learnt so much from reading tons of posts!

I have 2 questions with regards to SL and a Pentium 4 Platform.

I am able to install and run Leopard 10.5.6 Perfectly with my setup (EVERYTHING WORKS)

I went ahead and got SL and I was able to complete the install onto a seperate partition with the same P4 rig.

However, I am unable to get past the "Do You already own a Mac?" Portion of the Install.

This leads to my first question - does this mean I was successful with "installing" SL with on a Pentium 4 platform. I feel as if I was able to click through the next series of "continues" I could get into SL.

Secondly, has anyone else ran into this problem - I did some research on this forum and some people have posted that they disabled their Onboard NIC, enabled their COM Ports and or copied a user profile from another OSX instance. I've tried all three of these scenarios and have been unsuccesful.

It still hangs... ARGH!!! I'm so close but no cigar!

Thanks in advance,
