SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE Failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x05, ASC =0x21, ASCQ = 0x00

I am trying to install OS X Snow Leopard on my laptop (HP Pavilion dv9930us but when I look in system info it says dv9700) and keep getting this error message

 

SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE Failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x05, ASC =0x21, ASCQ = 0x00

disk2s3: I/O error.

 

it repeats over and over again and then finally stops and says

 

Waiting for DSMOS...

 

if some one could help me out and point me in the next direction that would be much appreciated as it has taken me a while to get this far and I feel like I am almost there.

 

Currently I am using Empire EFI v1.08 to help me get the computer to recognize the install dvd that I made from an image I found online.

 

System info:

ANYONE??? I GET THE SAME ERROR INSTALLING MAC OSX ON MY HP MINI. SAM MULTIMEDIA READ OR WRITE FAILED SENSE_KEY BLAH BLAH . ANYONE WITH INFO PLEASE LET US KNOW I WILL SEND U 5 DOLLARS CASH VIA PAY PAL IF U HELP ME GET THIS WORKING. PM ME LOGIC54.
