dtm3dd Posted June 27, 2006 Share Posted June 27, 2006 Hi there, I am running a Dell 8400 with a build in Broadcom Gigabit ethernet 57xx. I patched the kext - so now Mac Os sees the Ethernet fine but tells me this: Built -in Ethernet is currently active. Built-in Ethernet has a self-assigned IP address and may not be able to connect to the internet. Anyone have any ideas?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am sure this will help many others. Thanx.
