rekkid Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 Hope I posted this in the right section I used the OSX86 tool's system restore option from an ideneb v1.3 10.5.5 install. After rebooting, I get the Welcome loop, which I went into single user to bypass. At the login screen my root password does not work. I get an error when I try to change the password in single user mode that says 'root' is an unknown username. I also get CFGetHostUUIDString: unable to determine UUID for host. Error: 35.
