Hey everyone,

I downloaded Snow Leopard 10.6.0 from The Pirate Bay (Torrent name "Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.0 Patched for PC") and I'm having a few issues with it.

My specs -

Acer desktop

Intel Q6600 (not OC'd)

4GB of DDR2 RAM

Nvidia 8400GS 256MB

Intel G31 Mobo

250 HDD with 3 partitions (XP, Win 7 and OSX)

I've downloaded "Mac OS X DVD Retail Patch" from TPB aswell. Before I downloaded that I was booting straight off of the OSX install disk and would get stuck at 'AppleDecrypt: Starting'........Now that I use the bootloader, I get past that and it starts dsmos.

The problem I have now though, is that it just stops at ".com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components"

I've searched around for a few hours but haven't found anyone who explains a solution. They all seem to say 'Well, delete the kexts" but, I'm a noob to OSX, if someone could explain how to do that, I'd appreciate it a lot.

I'm in Italy and I'm limited to 1GB a day of internet download so I'm trying to get away with not downloading iAKTOS if I can help it.

Cheers,

Jack.

Edit - Just downloaded CPU Z and it says my mainboard is an 'Intel P35/G33/G31'
