Kunze Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 Hi, i can't install from the DVD of Mac OS X 10.6.2 (it's not an update). I tried some tutorials, but they dont work. Even the "X58 Mobo Patch Installer" dont work, because after i have to start the installation from DVD, the installer starts but then a prog is checking the system and stops the installation. So what is the Problem? Is it possible to install directly SL 10.6.2? My System: Gigabyte EX58 UD4P with i7 920 3x 2GB DDR3 EVGA NVIDIA GTX 275 THX for your help. Kunze Posted January 6, 2010 Author Share Posted January 6, 2010 now i have tried an installation from usb by booting with chameleon. I see the apple loading screen, but after a while i get a black screen and then my monitor goes to standby. the pc stops and does nothing. Is there anybody who can help my? Or has a working installation of Snow Leopard on the GA-EX58-UD4P and can me give some support or his tutorial?
