Stevedam Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 I just loaded my HP Pavilion dv2550se notebook with the iDeneb v1.4 software. It works great except my audio won't work. According to the system profiler I have a Intel HD Audio Device id:0x103c30cd according to HP i have a Conexant HD Audio SmartAudio 221 I need help getting this to work. What else am I supposed to do I got an error message that the .ktext was installed improperly. I'm sorry I'm new to this stuff and not to sure about what to do. In order to properly install kexts you need to use a utility that moves the file to the right location and it repairs its permissions. Look for KextUtilty, osx86KextB and others. First right click in the file you've moved and trash it.
