I have installed iDeneb 10.5.6 and it is working great ever since.I have only manually installed the network driver that was missing from the DVD , everything else worked in the first place.I have been heavily tested it and had no problem, it is 100% reliable, so it eventually became my main system.

Now I tried in a separate external drive to install iDeneb 1.6 10.5.8 Lite which has limited installation options.

I have some problems with the sound and with the keyboard. The sound driver that I used in iDeneb 1.4 was ALC262, but I cannot find on the net a fully working version of it like iDeneb's 1.4.As for the keyboard, it is working with the voodoops2.kext, but the mapping is different from what it really is, it thinks that it is a real macbook keyboard so it is difficult for me to use it.Again, in iDeneb 1.4 it works great.

So, I want to ask, what can I do to use the kexts from my working 1.4 installation to fix the problems of the 1.6 one?

I tried to use OSX86Tools and restore the "backuped" kexts from the old system to the new one, and that indeed fixed my sound problems but made my system hiccup.I then selected only the audio related kexts that I could think of , but with no luck.

Is there a way to find out which kexts to use and for what reason, from a known, good installation, and then use those kexts and install them?

Thanks for reading my post!
