jamesrw2002
I am doing a retail install on my laptop (I've verified that I have the hardware requirements met) Anyway, I've got the boot disc portion done, but after I put in the apple disc and pressed Enter... all I've had for the past several hours is the grey apple screen... if I take the disc out.. nothing, if I turn the computer off then back on, back to the grey apple screen... Anyone know anything about this? Am I screwed? Thanks in advanced guys... been scratching my head for hours. RSN
After inserting the Apple DVD hit F8 for booting options. Input -v to see why is not loading and report. jamesrw2002
F8 gets me nothing.. seriously, every time I turn the computer on Apple DVD or not, all I get is the grey apple screen. I'm not 100% sure of the specs... just did the SSE test and it is SSE2... It was just a shot in the dark... anyone have any ideas for how to get past this screen?
